The seventh in a series of Prestige stamp books issued in conjunction with P & 0 to mark the 150th anniversary of the first mail contract with the Peninsular Steam Navigation Co. The book was designed by Aitken Blakeley Designers with the text by Stephen Rabson, the Group Librarian for P & 0 and was printed and bound by Harrison & Sons Ltd. The story of P & 0 from its inception in the early 1800s to the present day is unfolded with illustrations in colour on the cover, interleaves and stamp pane stubs.
