The stamps were designed by Tayburn and feature sculptures of the Scottish lion and thistle by Frank Pottinger and Tim Chalk, a painting of the Saltire by Anton Morris, and tartan supplied by Kinloch Anderson of Leith, tartan suppliers to members of the Royal Family. The first day cover envelope features a Highland scene near Loch Fyne.1999 (June 8 1999)
